I would like to inspire for this month to be a "support your neighborhood small business" month.

 Cities are changing. It's sad to see all the places with history, soul be replaced with Starbucks, banks, large department stores, grocery stores. Let's make a conscious effort to buy ONLY from small businesses this month: your neighborhood fruit stands, mom and pop pharmacies, small coffee shops, bakeries, etc. Each time you spend money, make sure it is supporting the preservation of our neighborhoods. Feel free to post pics of you in front of it with an address or a link, a few words, so we can all see the character of your city and exchange the knowledge of where to shop and why.
