New Episode: 82nd & Fifth OPEN-MINDED with Navina Haidar

This folio from a manuscript illustrates a Hindu epic, the story of Krishna. However, the painting was made for a Muslim patron, Akbar, the emperor of Mughal India at the time. “One of the great masterpieces of world art was really given rise to by the openness of the Muslim mind,” says curator Navina Haidar.http://met.org/12ynD0Z
